TAPL Office Furniture supplies, customises and installs quality office furniture across Kenya and East Africa. We do everything from a single executive desk to a fully fitted head office.
Most suppliers do one part of this
Most office furniture in Kenya passes through several hands before it reaches your floor. An importer, a middleman, a delivery company, and an installer nobody has met. Things fall through the gaps. Dates slip. People argue over who caused the damage. Nobody really owns the problem.
We do every step ourselves. Most of what we supply comes from factories we have worked with for years, and we check it before it ships. If you need something the catalogue does not cover, our Nairobi workshop builds it to your drawings. We also deliver, assemble and install, with people we employ.

Four stages, each with an agreed date
You will know the price, the date and who is coming before anything is ordered.
Site visit and measure
We come anywhere in Nairobi, for a small fee that covers our transport and incidental expenses. For large orders, we also visit outside Nairobi. The fee then covers our travel and the other costs of the trip. We measure, take photos and note the things drawings never show. The pillar in the wrong place. The door that opens inward. The power cables you have to work around.
Furniture plan and a line-by-line quote
You get a furniture plan showing how many desks fit and how wide the walkways are. Every item is priced on its own line. Furniture, delivery and installation are shown separately, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Sourcing and build
We set aside stock items straight away. We check imported items before they leave the factory. And we build custom pieces in our Nairobi workshop, to the drawing you approved.
Delivery, assembly, installation
Our own team arrives on a date we agreed upon. If your office is in use, we work evenings and weekends, so your team does not lose a working day. We take the packaging away with us.

These are the promises we make before you order.
We check it before it ships
Our own people check imported furniture at the factory. We do not sign for it unseen at the port. That is the difference between finding a fault in China and finding it in your boardroom.
We build what the catalogue does not have
Odd corners, unusual sizes, or a finish to match what you already own. Send us a sketch or a photo. We will send back a drawing and a fixed price.
We deliver it ourselves
We handle every delivery across Kenya ourselves. For Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda we use transport companies we trust. No outside courier decides how carefully your furniture travels.
Assembly is always included
Nothing arrives in a flat box for someone in your office to struggle with on a Friday afternoon. Our team puts it together in the room where it belongs.
We work around your week
Installing in an office that is already in use means working evenings and weekends. That is just how we work, not a favour. It does not cost extra.
You get a named contact
You will have one person who knows your order, on a Nairobi phone number. We keep spare parts in Nairobi for everything we sell. No ticket queue.
We make what the catalogue does not have
Our Nairobi workshop is for the jobs a catalogue cannot cover. A reception counter that follows a curved wall. A boardroom table in a size no importer stocks. Pieces made to match furniture you bought six years ago.
It also means you wait weeks, not months. And spare parts are close by, not overseas. When a part breaks three years later, that matters a lot more than the original price did.

You are welcome to come and try things before you order eighty of them. Both showrooms have a good selection on the floor. You do not need an appointment. Just walk in.
